Micahnik Fencing Center

Michahnik Fencing Center is home to the University of Pennsylvania’s Varsity Fencing Team. The facility features 10,000 square feet of space and 14 fencing strips, each with their own unique scoring system. This facility is a newly renovated space that had a completion date in the fall of 2013. This space can hold 500 and it is equipped with audio, visual, air conditioning. The unique design and character of this space allows for not only fencing practice and tournaments but galas of many kinds and photo shoots.

Rockwell Gymnasium

Rockwell Gymnasium primarily is used by the University of Pennsylvania's basketball, volleyball, gymnastics and wrestling practices and meets. This space is also used of the universities intramural and club sports programs. Rockwell a newly renovated gym coming in at 6,000 square feet. A facility of this capacity can seat approximately 200 guests and spectators. Rockwell Gym is equipped with six retractable baskets, a full operational scoreboard, shot clock boards at each end of the court, and Robbins Basketball Flooring. This is a great space for sporting events and practice, concerts, speaking engagements, photo shoots and much more!

Weightman Gym

Weightman Gym is an auxiliary space that is used in multiple functions. The University of Pennsylvania’s dance, gymnastics, ping pong and other clubs and student groups use this facility for events and practice. This gym has a functional scoreboard, 6 fixed basketball hoops, and mental risers that can be moved according the needs of the event. Weightman gym is used for sporting events and practice, speaking engagements, student group events and parties.

David Pottruck Health & Fitness Center

Located on 37th and Walnut Street this 120,000 square foot facility is has four floors of weight and cardio equipment, an Olympic-size pool, co-ed sauna, basketball courts, the climbing wall, golf simulator, fitness and Pilates studios, locker and shower facilities, and the Membership Services office. 
  • Fitness studios are available to rent for all student groups and departments upon request.
