Finished second in school history with 25 home runs

In 2010 tied a school record with 12 home runs

 

2011: First-team All-Ivy ... Big 5 Player of the Week (3/30) ... Co-captain ... Caught and started 39 of 40 games ... Hit a career-high .304 with 42 hits, 31 runs, 27 RBI, 16 doubles and six home runs ... Slugged .565 and had a .433 on-base percentage ... Finished with 25 career home runs, second all-time in Penn history ... Hit .368 over the final 30 games of the year ... Went a career-high 4-for-4 with a walk and finished a triple short of the cycle with three RBI and a steal in a win over Lafayette (3/26) ... Tied a career high with four RBI and added three hits, three runs, two doubles and a home run in an 9-7 win over Dartmouth (4/3) ... Had five straight multi-hit games (4/9-4/15) ... Went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a win over eventual Ivy champion Princeton (4/15) ... Went 2-for-3 with a home run in Penn's 6-5 win over Columbia (4/30) ... Struck out just once over his final 17 at-bats (4/25-4/30).


2010: Honorable Mention All-Ivy ... Played in 38 games and started at catcher in 34 ... Hit a career-best .281 and also set career highs with 38 hits and 30 runs scored ... Tied for second on the team with 37 RBI and a .615 slugging percentage ... Led the team with 12 home runs ... The 12 home runs tied the school record of 12 set by Tom Olzsak in 1979 ... Homered in four straight games (4/17-21) ... Went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in a win over Temple (3/17) ... Finished 2-for-4 with a double, home run and two RBI in a win over Dartmouth (4/11) ... Hit his first career grand slam in a 10-9 loss to Cornell (4/18) ... Finished a double short of the cycle, going 3-for-4 with three RBI against Lehigh (4/21).


2009: Played in 36 games, starting 29 … Saw time at four different positions, playing catcher, first base, left field and designated hitter … Established career-highs in most offensive categories … Finished second on the team with seven home runs … Tied for third on the squad with 14 walks … Went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI at Rollins (3/11)  in an 11-10 come-from-behind win … His first career home run, a solo shot against Georgetown (3/15) proved to be the winning run in a 9-5 win … Both of his hits in a 2-for-3 performance against Dartmouth (3/28) were solo home runs – his first career multi-homer game … Went 7-for-9 over the final three games of the season against Columbia (4/25-26) … Had two home runs and seven RBI over that span to go with six runs scored.


2008: Appeared in 25 games while making 19 starts at catcher and designated hitter ... Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored at Villanova (4/8) ... Went 3-for-5 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored in Penn’s 12-1 win over NJIT (3/15) ... Recorded first collegiate hit and RBI against Air Force (3/9).

 

High School: Three-year letterwinner in baseball and football. Captained his baseball team senior year...Member of the 2006 Georgia state runner-up baseball team...Baseball team was Region 6-AAAA champions in 2007...Member of the National Latin Honor Society...Member of the National Honor Society...

 

Personal: Son of Mary and Wally Davis...Competed against current Penn teammates Robbie Seymour, Reid Terry and Adrian Thomas in high school...Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences as an Economics major.
