OUTDOOR 2017

• Competed in nine meets during the 2017 outdoor season, making an appearance each week, exclusively in the shot put.
• Threw a career-best distance of 17.41m at the 2017 Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Championships (May 7), finishing third and qualifying for the NCAA East Region Prelims in the process.
• Toss at Ivy Heps ranked No. 2 in Penn history.
• Notched a distance of 16.73m at NCAA's.
• Recorded five top-five placements on the year, including a second-place mark at the Penn Challenge (March 25).
• Finished sixth in the college division of the Penn Relays with a throw of 17.15m.

INDOOR 2017

• Recorded six top-five finishes in the shot put during the indoor season.
  
• Placed second on three occasions, including at the Lehigh Season Opener (Dec. 2), the Penn 8-Team Select (Jan. 21) and the Villanova Invitational (Feb. 4).
• Earned a scoring throw of 16.46m at the 2017 Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championships, placing sixth.
• Best throw of the season came at the Villanova Invitational, with a distance of 16.59m.

OUTDOOR 2016

• Recorded nine top-10 finishes during the outdoor season, competing exclusively in shot put.

• Placed first at the Penn Challenge (Mar. 26) and at the Chester Quarry Classic (Apr. 16).

• Placed fifth at the 2016 Ivy League Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a throw of 16.95m.

• Placed 10^th at the IC4A Outdoor Track & Field Championships.  

• Recorded a season-best throw of 17.14m at the Penn Relays.  

INDOOR 2016

• Recorded five top-5 finishes and six top-10 finishes during the indoor season, competing exclusively in shot put.

• Placed seventh at the 2016 Ivy League Indoor Track & Field Championships with a throw of 16.63m; his best throw of the indoor season.

2014-15: Competed exclusively in the shot put for the Quakers ... Scored at Outdoor Heps (fifth) ... Finished second at the Mason Invitational (April 11) and third at the Philadelphia College Classic (March 21).

2013-14: Competed primarily in the shot put and finished with a season-best toss of 16.16 meters (52-00.25 ft.) at the Angry Birds Invitational (Jan. 18).

High School: Four-time all-county ... 2013 county champion ... Eastern States champion in the shot put ... Two-time all-county ... Eastern States champion in the discus.

Personal: Son of William and Allison Bishop ... Majoring in economics with a minor in business management.
