Women's Tennis Continues Ivy Play at Columbia (Fri) & Hosts Cornell (Sun)

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team continues Ivy League play this weekend at Columbia on Friday and against Cornell on Sunday.
 
The team is coming off a 4-1 win against Harvard on Sunday, improving to 10-9 on the season and earning their first Ivy League win of the season.

* The Quakers will celebrate the career of senior Maya Urata on Sunday against Cornell in their final home match of the season.
 
* Esha Velaga and Lara Stojanovski secured a doubles win against Harvard at No. 1.
 
* Liza Tkachenko and Sasha Motlagh got another doubles win for the Blue and White against Harvard at No. 3.
 
* Esha Velaga, Joleen Saw and Maya Urata recorded singles wins against the Crimson.
 
* Penn is tied for third place in the Ivy standings (1-2), Columbia is tied for first (3-0) and Cornell is last (0-3).
