Baseball Announces Schedule Changes

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania baseball team has made schedule changes for its upcoming three-game series at Princeton and to its matchups with Villanova and Wagner.

The Quakers were originally slated for two contests on Saturday and a Sunday series finale, but due to concerns of rain on Sunday, adjustments have been made. Penn will now begin the series at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 17, and Saturday's doubleheader will remain as previously scheduled. The entire series will be played at Clarke Field.

In addition to the adjustments for this upcoming weekend, the Quakers' matchup with Villanova scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, was canceled following their advancement to the Liberty Bell Classic title game. The Red and Blue take on Saint Joseph's at 4 p.m. on April 21 at Citizens Bank Park, where a champion will be crowned.

Furthermore, the contest against Wagner slated for Tuesday, April 28, was removed due to recent scheduling considerations.

New Schedule
Game 1 – Friday, April 17 at 3 p.m.
Game 2 – Saturday, April 18 at 11:30 a.m.
Game 3 – Saturday, April 18 – will begin shortly after Game 2 concludes.
