ITHACA, N.Y. – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team fell short against No. 33 Cornell in Ithaca on Sunday, 4-3.
The Big Red came away with the doubles point after taking two of three, as the Quakers fell behind heading into singles.
Matthew Rutter began singles with a win at #6 as the Quakers tied the match at 1-1.
Luka Butera followed with another victory at #2 as Penn took a 2-1 lead.
Cornell took the next two matches as they retook the lead, 3-2.

Manfredi Graziani knotted things up at 3-3 after emerging victorious in a three-set win for the Quakers' third point.
But Cornell's Felipe Pinzon outlasted a tough three set fight by
Adam Bain to escape with the 4-3 win.
