PHILADELPHIA – The Ivy League announced its women's lacrosse weekly awards on Monday afternoon, with
Orly Sedransk of the University of Pennsylvania women's lacrosse team earning Defensive Player of the Week.
Goalkeeper Sedransk had a career-high outing in Penn's 14-10 Ivy League opening win over Dartmouth this past Saturday, stopping 17 of the Big Green's shots to break her previous career-high of 14 saves. The sophomore posted a .630 save percentage in the victory, a season-high for the Verona, N.J., native.
