PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's squash team defeated No. 3 Stanford in the CSA Team Championships semifinals on Saturday at the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center, 5-4.
First team All-Ivy selections
Malak Khafagy and
Franka Vidovic swept their opponents in the first and second spots of the ladder.
Sohaila Ismail and
Savannah Ingledew had the next two wins for the Quakers as Penn needed just one more win to advance in the tournament.
Malak Taha came up in the clutch with a 3-1 win in the three spot over Zhi Xuan Goh, clinching the fifth point and the win for the Quakers.
