Women's Tennis Set for Ivy League Opener Against #58 Princeton

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team will hit the road to face off against Princeton in the Ivy League opener on Saturday. Penn is coming off a good week winning against Temple on Saturday, 4-1 and defeating FDU on Tuesday, 5-2. Their overall record is now 9-7, as they have won their last three matches.  
 
Quaker Notemeal 
 
* Penn won two doubles and three of four singles matches against Temple and won two doubles matches plus four of six singles matches against FDU. 
 
* Joleen Saw had good performances against Temple and FDU. She won a doubles match against Temple with her doubles partner Maya Urata and then won a singles match. She teamed up with Varsha Vedula for a doubles win, while adding another singles victory against FDU. 
 
* Lara Stojanovski also had notable performances, winning singles matches against both Temple and FDU and winning a doubles match against FDU with her partner Esha Velaga
