PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team took down FDU at home on Tuesday afternoon at the Hecht Tennis Center, 5-2.
The Quakers won two doubles as
Lara Stojanovski paired up with
Esha Velaga at one, and
Joleen Saw with
Varsha Vedula at three.
Sasha Motlagh kicked off singles with a two set win at five, followed by a victory by Saw at two.
Stojanovski also added another win at one as she took down Anastasia Lim in two sets.
Varsha Vedula had the final singles win of the day for the Quakers at four as she secured the fifth point.
The Quakers now sit at 9-7 on the season as they head into Ivy League play beginning this weekend.
