Men's Tennis Squares off Against St. John's, Princeton This Week

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team returns from Virginia this week to host two matches. The first match of the week is against St John's at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Then on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., Penn hosts a match against Princeton as Ivy League play begins. Last week Penn had a double sweep on Thursday against Monmouth and Quinnipiac winning 4-0 and 5-0 respectively. Then on Sunday Penn played against Old Dominion where Penn got swept 0-4. The season record is now 13-6.

*Penn did not drop a set with two doubles matches and three singles matches against Monmouth and two doubles matches and four singles matches against Quinnipiac.  
 
Doubles team #7 Manfredi Graziani and Aaron Sandler won doubles matches against Monmouth and Quinnipiac, scoring 6-0 against Quinnipiac. Manfredi Graziani also won a singles match against Monmouth with a  6-4, 6-0 score. 
 
* #77 Vojtech Vales and Shaurya Bharadwaj also won against Monmouth and Matthew Rutter and Nischal Spurling won against Quinnipiac. Vales won two singles matches and Bharadwaj and Spurling both won a singles match.
