How It Happened
After a hot day at the plate on Saturday that included 20 runs, the Quakers seemed to simply run out of gas in this one.
Led by Faby Serna, who delivered a cycle on the day, Dartmouth got a lead early and extended it just as quickly. Serna got her four-hit day going in the first inning, hitting a two-run homer to dead center field to make it 2-0 after two batters. Serna then gave the Big Green their next three runs with a bases-clearing triple in the second.
The third inning exploded for the Big Green, producing eight runs. The Quakers had a few opportunities to get back into this one, leaving nine of base throughout the contest. However, there is no denying this one was the way of the Big Green all along.
The Quakers still take the series against Dartmouth and claim their first Ivy series win of 2026.
