ORLANDO, FLA. – The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team closed out their Florida trip with a 6-1 win over Western Carolina at the UTSA National Tennis Center on Friday morning.
Maya Urata and
Joleen Saw paired up to win their doubles match in the first position, 6-2.
Lara Stojanovski and
Varsha Vedula also secured a doubles win, by default, as the Catamounts were not able to field the appropriate six players.
Stojanovski also earned a singles win in the one spot, followed by a win by Saw at three,
Liza Tkachenko at four and Vedula at five.
The Quakers now sit at 7-7 on the season, looking to get back above .500 next weekend.
