PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team swept Florida Atlantic on Sunday at the Hecht Tennis Center, 4-0.
The doubles pairs of #6
Manfredi Graziani and
Aaron Sandler, and
Matthew Rutter and
Sanjeev Chundu gave the Quakers a 1-0 lead heading into singles.
Graziani also picked up a singles win in the one spot, taking down Mark Havlicek in two sets.
Luka Butera followed with a third point for the Quakers after defeating Segundo Goity Zapico in the second position, also in just two sets.
Finally, freshman
Vojtech Vales completed the four point sweep for the Red and Blue while adding his team-leading eighth singles win of the season.
The Quakers are now 9-3 on the season after sweeping both South Florida and Florida Atlantic this weekend.
