PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team fell to fifth seeded Yale in the final match of the ECAC Indoor Championship on Sunday, 4-0.
The Quakers had an incredible run to the championship match with wins over Dartmouth and Columbia.
Both freshmen
Joleen Saw and
Varsha Vedula were spectacular over the course of the weekend, willing the Red and Blue to victory.
Vedula and doubles partner
Lara Stojanovski recorded two doubles wins in three matches, upping their total wins to three as a pairing this season.
Both Saw and Vedula had two singles wins each against the Big Green and the Lions.
