Men's Tennis Hosts Delaware, Saint Joseph's on Friday

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team will be hosting two matches against Delaware and Saint Joseph's on Friday at the Hecht Tennis Center. The first match of the day will begin at noon as the Quakers will square off against the Blue Hens. The Red and Blue will then face the Hawks beginning at 6 p.m. The team is coming off a strong 6-1 win against Liberty bringing their season record to 3-1. 
 
Quaker Notemeal 
 
* Penn won two out of three doubles matches against Liberty and five of six singles matches en route to a 6-1 victory.  
 
* #41 ranked Manfredi Graziani won in both singles and doubles, alongside his doubles partner Aaron Sandler
 
* The second doubles victory was by the pairing of Mathew Rutter and Parashar Bharadwaj. Rutter also had a strong singles performance winning 6-0, 6-1. 
 
* Other strong singles performances include Shaurya Bharadwaj and Vojtech Vales who both won their singles matches in two sets. 
 
*In the first ITA national singles/doubles rankings of the spring, Penn's Manfredi Graziani and Aaron Sandler are ranked #4, Shaurya Bharadwaj and Vojtech Vales are ranked #87. In singles, Graziani is ranked #46 and Bharadwaj is ranked #70.
