Women's Tennis Looks to Bounce Back Against Lehigh (Sat) and Maryland (Sun)

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team looks to snap their two-game winning streak this weekend as they host Lehigh on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and then will hit the road for College Park, Md. to face off against Maryland on Sunday at noon. Last time out, Penn fell 4-3 to Delaware at the Hecht Tennis Center, bringing their season record to 5-4. The team hopes to bounce back and jump into the winning column this weekend.

*Penn lost two of three doubles matches and won three of six singles against the Blue Hens.  
 
* Maya Urata and freshman Joleen Saw delivered Penn's lone doubles victory in the one spot, winning 6-4. 
 
The singles winners last Friday included Lara Stojanovski, Varsha Vedula, and Liza Tkachenko
