GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The University of Pennsylvania men's golf team jumped up four spots in Tuesday's final round at the Loyola Intercollegiate. The three-day, 54-hole event took place on the par-72 course at Palm Valley Golf Club.

Penn shot 4-under-par 284 as a team on Tuesday, its best round of the tournament. That allowed the Quakers to move up four spots and tie for 13th place with Omaha in a field of 20 teams, both teams shooting 4-over-par 868 for the event. The University of Richmond won the team title, the Spiders besting tournament host Loyola Maryland by three strokes on Tuesday to break a second-round tie with the Greyhounds.
Junior
Hayden Adams ended the tournament as Penn's low scorer, shooting 3-under-par 69 on Tuesday to finish at 4-under-par 212. That had him tied for 22nd in a field of 119 golfers. Freshman
Arjun Caprihan also went under par on Tuesday, with a 71, and finished t-30th at 2-under-par 214.
Kayden Wang bettered Caprihan by a shot on Tuesday, shooting a 70, and ended the tournament at 220 (+4).
Ryan Chang and
Max Fonseca both shot 74 and finished with scores of 224 (+8) and 227 (+11), respectively.
Wesley Hu was in the field as an individual and shot an even-par 72 on Tuesday to finish the tournament at 1-under-par 215.
Richmond's Carson Baez was the individual medalist, as he finished the tournament at a staggering 17-under-par 199. That had him four shots ahead of UT Martin's Luke Caldwell, who finished second.
