GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The University of Pennsylvania men's golf team fell a few spots on Day 2 at the Loyola Intercollegiate. The three-day, 54-hole event is taking place on the par-72 course at Palm Valley Golf Club.

Penn shot 6-over-par 294 as a team on Monday and ended the day 17th in a 20-team field with a two-day score of 8-over-par 584. Host Loyola Maryland and Richmond are atop the team leaderboard, both at 20-under-par 556.
Junior
Hayden Adams and freshman
Arjun Caprihan remain Penn's low scorers in the field; they both shot even-par 72 on Monday and are at 1-over-par 143 through two rounds. That has them tied for 30th in a field of 119 golfers.
Kayden Wang (74, +2) and
Ryan Chang (76, +4) were the Quakers' other scorers on Monday and are both at 6-over-par 150 through two rounds, while
Max Fonseca carded a 7-over-par 79 in the second round. The best round played by a Penn player came from
Wesley Hu, who's in the field as an individual—he shot a 4-under-par 68 on Monday, the best round by any Quakers player so far at the event.
Grand Canyon's Campbell Kerr and Richmond's Carson Baez lead the field, both of them at 11-under-par 133 heading into Tuesday's final round.
Tuesday's final round is scheduled for a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. local time (9:45 Eastern).
