PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team hosts 33rd street rival Drexel this Saturday at noon at the Hecht Tennis Center. The Quakers are coming off a weekend where they dropped both matches to Michigan on Saturday and Notre Dame on Sunday in the ITA Kick-Off. Their record now sits at an even 2-2 on the season, looking to get back to above .500.

* Penn was not able to win any completed singles or doubles matches against either team. Many of the matches were abandoned.
* The closest match was Penn's Varsha Vedula against Michigan's Laura Rahnel where Vedula brought the match to the third set before the match was cut short at a set score of 1-1.
* Maya Urata and Joleen Saw also brought their singles matches against Michigan to the third set before the matches were abandoned.
Previewing Drexel
The Dragons have begun the season 1-1 after losing to Fordham, 6-1 and defeating Saint Joseph's, 5-2. Anastasia Kavounov has won both of her singles matches to begin the year. She and her doubles partner, Rebecca Fiedler won in doubles against the Hawks as well as the pair of Sofia Snitko and Christine Fourie.
