PHILADELPHIA – USA Lacrosse Magazine has announced its Preseason All-America Teams for the 2026 men's lacrosse season, and the University of Pennsylvania was represented by senior midfielder
Griffin Scane who received honorable mention recognition.

Griffin Scane, M – Honorable Mention
Scane was named second-team All-Ivy last season after he led Penn in goals (25) and points (30). The senior also had 11 ground balls and three caused turnovers and tied for the team lead with 10 goals in Ivy League play. Scane had nine multi-point and seven multi-goal games and tied for the team lead by posting a point in 12 of 14 contests. He enters his senior season with 45 career goals and 17 assists for 62 points.
Penn will open the 2026 season on Saturday, Feb. 14 with Georgetown at Franklin Field; the Hoyas are ranked fourth in the
USA Lacrosse Magazine preseason poll. The Quakers' 13-game schedule features seven games against teams in the
USA Lacrosse Magazine preseason poll—including five of the top six teams—as well as Villanova and Yale which were among six teams in the "also receiving votes" section.
