NEW HAVEN, CONN. — The University of Pennsylvania women's squash team improved to 9-0 on the season after sweeping No. 8 Yale on Sunday, Jan. 18.
The Quakers swept all of their opponents in the first four positions of the lineup as
Malak Khafagy,
Franka Vidovic,
Malak Taha, and Sohalia Ismail added more wins to their resumes.
Allie Stoddard recorded a second win in two days, this time defeating Yale's Eedha Kang, 3-1.
Ashna Tumuluri and
Savannah Ingledew also secured 3-0 victories in the eight and ninth spots in the lineup.
Anne Leakey and
Hailey Wong added two more wins for the Quakers as they recorded their sixth 9-0 sweep of the season.
Penn now becomes the first team to nine wins this season as Vidovic, Stoddard, Ingledew, Tumuluri and Khafagy all rank in the top 10 of the CSA player standings.
