NEW HAVEN, CONN. — The University of Pennsylvania men's squash team dropped its second loss of the season in the Ivy League opener at Yale, 5-4.
Salman Khalil and
Marwan Abdelsalam added wins to their resumes in the second and third positions.
Abdelsalam's match stretched for longer than an hour and a half as the sophomore gutted out a 3-2 win.
Zane Patel recorded another win, his second in the last two days, as he defeated Yale's Rick Chen 3-1.
Varun Chitturi had the final win of the day for the Quakers, defeating Bennett Eun in four games.
This is the first time since February 2024 that Penn has lost back-to-back matches.
