HARTFORD, CONN. — The top-ranked University of Pennsylvania men's squash team faced off against highly ranked Trinity on Saturday, suffering their first loss of the season to the second-ranked Bantams, 5-4. The loss snapped a 30-match win streak the Quakers had amassed dating back to 2024.
 
Omar Hafez added another win at the top of the lineup for the Red and Blue, defeating Joachim Chuah in three games.
 
Rustin Wiser outlasted opponent Huzaifa Ibrahaim in a grueling match that lasted almost an hour and a half, 3-2.
 
Zane Patel added his sixth win of the season, defeating previously undefeated Segundo Portabales, 3-1.
 
With the score tied 4-4, the final match came down to Alex Dartnell and Trinity's Low Wa-Sern in the fourth position. Wa-Sern squeaked by with a 3-2 victory in a hard-fought battle of college squash's top two programs.
