PHILADELPHIA – Welcome to the Valenti Era! The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team announced its schedule for the 2025-26 season on Monday morning.
 
"This season, we will have some awesome new opportunities to challenge ourselves as we navigate the path to the NCAA Championships in Cleveland," said head wrestling coach Matt Valenti. "Our schedule is designed to shape the team into what we need to be when March arrives."
 
Penn opens the Valenti Era at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic on Nov. 19, before heading to the Battle of Yorktown on Nov. 15, for the first time in program history. The Quakers are home for three straight meets, hosting Hofstra (Nov. 22), the Keystone Classic (Nov. 23), and UVA (Dec. 22).
 
The Red and Blue rings in 2026 at the Southern Scuffle hosted by Chattanooga, Jan. 3-4, followed by trips to the F&M Open (Jan. 9) and to Northern Colorado for a dual (Jan. 11).
 
Ivy League action opens in University City on Jan. 25 against Columbia, followed by back-to-back meets at Brown (Jan. 31) and Harvard (Feb. 1). Penn returns to the Palestra on Feb. 8, to host Cornell trailed by bouts at Lehigh (Feb. 13) and Princeton (Feb. 14). The Quakers close regular season battles against Rider on Feb. 19 in the City of Brotherly Love.
 
The postseason begins on March 8, heading to the Big Apple for the Ivy League Champions, where the Quakers hope to earn automatic bids to the 2026 NCAA Wrestling Championships (March 19-21) hosted at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
