TULSA, OK. – Shaurya Bharadwaj of the University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team wrapped up his play at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's All-American Championships Sunday. Bharadwaj finishes 1-1 in singles play.
The sophomore defeated Luca Lemaitre of Santa Clara in straight sets (6-2, 6-1) Saturday afternoon before falling to Taym Alazmeh of Michigan State (6-4, 6-3) in the in the next match of the prequalifying round.
The Quakers still have
Manfredi Graziani and
Aaron Sandler in the mix. Graziani will take on Mario Martinez Serrano of Mississippi State today at 11 a.m., while Sandler will join Graziani later for doubles play at 5:30 p.m.
