PHILADELPHIA – Penn men's and women's basketball fans will get their first chance to see the teams in action ahead of the regular season, as the programs have announced the date for the annual Red and Blue Scrimmages.
 
This year, the event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4 at The Palestra. The Penn women will start the day at 10 a.m., followed by the men playing their scrimmage at approximately 11 a.m. As always, admission is free and fans are welcome to attend.
 
Penn's first regular-season home games will take place as a doubleheader on Friday, Nov. 7 when the women meet King's College at 4 p.m. and the men tip off the Fran McCaffery Era against Rowan University at 7 p.m. Season, mini plan, single game and group ticket packages are on sale now.
