Addison Pollock has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week.

Pollock totaled 71 digs across Penn's three matches last weekend at the Charm City Classic, leading the Quakers in that category in all three. The freshman had 24 in Friday's tournament opener at Coppin State, followed up with a match-high 25 in a three-set win over Lafayette on Saturday, then added 22 more in Saturday night's four-set loss at Towson. Overall, she averaged 5.92 digs per set across the weekend and has come up with more than 20 digs in five straight matches. Pollock also had 17 assists and five service aces, including a team-high three against Towson.
Penn (3-3) has a busy week ahead, with the home opener against NJIT on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. followed by a trip to the University of Delaware for the Blue Hen's Delaware Invitational. At that event, the Quakers face the host Hens on Friday at 6 p.m. followed by Saint Peter's College Saturday at 1 p.m.
