PHILADELPHIA – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its Division I All-ECAC Teams for the 2025 women's lacrosse season, and the University of Pennsylvania is represented by midfielder
Anna Brandt and goalkeeper
Orly Sedransk.
Midfielder Brandt earned the honor after a historic senior year. Brandt, a consensus First Team All-American, who was named a USA Lacrosse, Inside Lacrosse, and IWLCA First Team All-American, won IWLCA and Ivy League Midfielder of the Year and landed Unanimous First Team All-Ivy, led the Quakers in free position goals (11), caused turnovers (28), ground balls (60), goals (68), and points (71). The senior slashed three program records and tied one this season, breaking the all-time goals record with her 149th goal against Temple in February, the all-time draw control record with her 174th against Loyola Maryland, and the single-season goal record with her 64th goal of the year this week in the NCAA quarterfinals against #3 Northwestern. Brandt tied the single-game goal record with nine over Cornell. The White Hall, Md., native had a strong stat line in the NCAA women's lacrosse tournament, tallying six goals in the first two rounds to become the first Quaker in program history to score 200 goals. The Tewaaraton Foundation named Brandt a semifinalist for the Tewaaraton Award for the first time in her career to add to her stellar resume.
Goalkeeper Sedransk recorded a fantastic freshman season, earning Ivy League Rookie and Goalkeeper of the Year, along with USA Lacrosse and Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American and IWLCA Third Team All-American. Sedrnask posted an 11-7 overall and a 5-2 Ivy League record this year, saving 180 of 519 shots faced, holding a 9.99 goals-against-average and a .490 save percentage. The keeper saved a career-high 14 shots three times in 2025 against #5 Princeton and Towson in the regular season and #21 Army in the NCAA first round.
