SACRAMENTO, Calif. – While his collegiate career came to an end with a runner-up finish at NCAA Championships last weekend, senior
Matt Fallon swam for Penn once again on Friday evening at the 2025 TYR Pro Swim Series at North Natomas Aquatic Center.
In the event he holds the American record in—the 200-meter breaststroke—Fallon once again found the top of the podium on Friday night by swimming a 2:09.58 to finish ahead of Carles Coll Marti (2:10.25), whom he out-swam at NCAAs last weekend for second place.
At the moment, Fallon's time is the sixth quickest in the world, getting ready to represent the United States national team at World Aquatics Championships in Singapore in August.
Fallon closed the book on his collegiate career a three-time first-team All-America, three-time Ivy League champion, American record holder, and an Olympian last summer.
