PHILADELPHIA – Following a six-match winning streak at the Hecht Tennis Center, the University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team will head to North Carolina and Florida this week for their spring break road trip.
The Quakers improved to 14-3 in the dual match season with wins over Monmouth, Old Dominion and Rider last weekend.

The Quakers are 12-2 at the Hecht Tennis Center this season and winners of their last six. During its winning streak, Penn has defeated their opponents by a combined score of 33-1.
Dethroning the Monarchs
Penn's 3-0 weekend was highlighted by their 4-1 win over Old Dominion. After dropping the doubles point, the Quakers won four straight singles matches to secure the victory.
Manfredi Graziani took down his second ranked opponent of the dual match season.
Previewing UNCW
The Seahawks are 3-7 on the dual match season but their last six matches have come to teams ranked inside the top 60 of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings.
UNCW is led by senior Harold Huens. Huens is 4-3 with a Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Player of the Week recognition back on February 25. The Seahawks have used 12 unique doubles pairs this season.
Previewing USF
The Bulls are six spots behind the Quakers in the ITA rankings at No. 36. They're 11-3, winning seven of their last eight matches with the only loss coming to No. 2 TCU.
Individually, Hugo Car is the sole Bull on the ITA rankings at No. 80. He is the reigning American Athletic Conference (AAC) Player of the Week after securing individual wins against the No. 2 Horned Frogs, Oregon and the University of Pacific. The senior is in his first year with the program after winning the JUCO Singles National Championship last season at Eastern Florida State College.
Previewing FAU
The Owls have won their last two matches over UTSA and South Alabama after starting the season 1-7. John Bernard is their primary No. 1, sitting at No. 106 on the ITA singles rankings. The Naples, Fla. local is 4-4 in the dual match season. In doubles, Mark Havlicek and Bernard are 3-5 at No. 1.
