HUMBLE, Texas – The University of Pennsylvania men's golf team finished 12th out of 15 teams at the All-American Intercollegiate. The two-day, 54-hole event concluded Tuesday on the Tournament Course at the Golf Club of Houston.

Penn shot 303 as a team in Tuesday's final round and ended the event at 28-over-par 892. That was just two shots behind Lamar and UL-Monroe, who tied for tenth, and four behind ninth-place Texas State. The other Ivy League team in the field, Yale, was 15th overall with a score of 913. Tournament host University of Houston was team champion, the Cougars carding a final-round 289 to finish the event at 20-under-par 844. That was nine strokes ahead of second-place Troy and 17 ahead of third-place TCU.
 
Senior Ben Scott finished as Penn's low scorer at the All-American; he carded a final-round 76 to end the tournament at 4-over-par 220 and tie for 31st out of 79 golfers who completed the event. Sophomore Hayden Adams tied for the Quakers' low score on Tuesday, a 75, and tied for 41st along with teammate Max Fonseca (who shot 77 on Tuesday).
 
George Roessler also shot a 77 on Tuesday and finished at 232 for the tournament, while Ryan Chang tied Adams for the team's low score on Tuesday and ended the tournament at 241.
 
Troy's Jake Springer was the individual champion, as he shot a final-round 70 to defeat Houston's Chi Chun Chen by a stroke. Chen's UH teammate, Wolfgang Glawe, was third, three shots off the pace.
