PHILADELPHIA – For the fourth straight year, the University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team claimed the Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) regular season championship, announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
 
The Quakers finished a perfect 10-0 against GEC teams in the regular season and posted a national qualifying score (NQS) of 195.345 to finish ahead of Yale (194.220) and Brown (193.890) for the top spot.
 
The Red and Blue's final NQS is the second highest in program history – only trailing their 195.450 from last season – where they also claimed the GEC regular season crown.

"I'm so proud of our team earning the regular season title," Gymnastics Head Coach Kirsten Becker said. "In our pre-season meetings with our student-athletes, we told them this was the most important goal to us as coaches because it shows consistency over time. Their hard work truly paid off but now it's time to show up for game time this weekend!"
 
Penn will look to cap off its championship treble and win its fourth straight GEC Championship at The Palestra on Saturday. As regular season champions, the Quakers will compete in the second session at 6 p.m. Both sessions will be streamed live on ESPN+.
