PHILADELPHIA – Continuing on with the postseason, several members of the University of Pennsylvania swimming and diving teams are heading to the ECAC Championships this weekend at the United States Naval Academy. Start times are set for 10 a.m. Friday, 10 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.

The Quakers are sending

John Lieberman,
Neo Matsuyama,
Henry Sheils,
Evan Spagnoletti,
Daniel Trincher,
Vinny Vinciguerra, and
Weifan Zhang to ECACs this weekend.
Penn Women's Participants
Penn will have 11 women participate in ECAC Championships including
Brooke Blom,
Vanessa Chong,
Amelia Girotto,
Sophie Henriksen,
Charlotte Holliday,
Kiani Morisi,
Amber Smith,
Emma Stolberg,
Maggie Straley,
Keara McGowan, and
Katya Eruslanova.
Defending Champs
Henriksen returns to Annapolis after claiming the ECAC title in the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.09. Henriksen, Blom, and Smith were members of the 400 free relay team that took home gold at ECACs last season.
The Field
A total of 27 teams from the region have entered at least one swimmer or diver to the meet. Full men's and women's teams entered include Bucknell, Fairfield, Loyola, and Navy, along with Iona, Rider, and Columbia who are sending large contingents.
