PHILADELPHIA — The University of Pennsylvania men's squash team swept Western on Sunday morning, ultimately winning their 30th match in a row.
The win streak has dated back to 2022, as the Quakers have begun this season 7-0.
Salman Khalil and
Rustin Wiser got the first wins of the day in the second and third positions as the Quakers took a 2-0 lead.
Zane Patel and
Hao Cui quickly followed, also with 3-0 sweeps of their opponents for Penn's third and fourth victories.
Freshman
Alex Dartnell continues to impress in his first season with the Red and Blue, defeating his opponent 3-0 in the fourth position.
Varun Chitturi won his second match of the year, this time in the seventh position.
Team captain
Omar Hafez won another match in the first position, his sixth of the season.
