PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team hits the road this weekend, sending six grapplers to the 2025 Patriot Open hosted by George Mason University on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m.

American, Appalachian State, Maryland, Princeton, Rider, Rutgers, Sacred Heart, Virginia Tech, VMI, and West Virginia will join Penn and host George Mason at the open.
 
Quaker Notemeal
*Wyatt Stout (157), Paul Ognissanti (165), Reed Fullmer (165), Liam Carlin (174), Brian Heard (174), and Lance Urbas (174) will compete for the Quakers in Fairfax, Va.
 
*Penn closed out November action placing second at the 2025 PRTC Keystone Classic, headed by Evan Mougalian (133), Cross Wasilewski (149), Jude Swisher (157), and Sean Seefeldt (165) earning individual titles.
 
*The Red and Blue currently holding a 2-0 dual record off wins over Campbell (36-6) and Hofstra (35-8) to start the year.
