PHILADELPHIA — The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's squash teams remained undefeated after defeating Virginia, 7-2 in both matches. 
 
The women's team won back-to-back matches versus top 10 ranked opponents for the first time this season.
 
Malak Taha and Malak Khafagy kicked things off with three-game sweeps over their opponents.
 
Zane Patel got the first victory of the day for the men's team winning three games against Virginia's Maxwell Velazquez.
 
Sohalia Ismail and team captain Franka Vidovic recorded their second wins in two days, sweeping both of their opponents.
 
The men's team celebrated their back-to-back national championships with a ring ceremony before improving to 5-0.
 
Team captain Omar Hafez gutted out a tough match against Virginia's Juan Irissari, winning 3-1 in the one position.
 
Allie Stoddard and Savannah Ingledew recorded the last two wins for the women's team as they defeated Virginia, 7-2.
 
Salman Khalil added another win in the third position, defeating JP Tew in three games.
 
Rehan Luthra came back from being down 2-1 against Virginia's Ewan Harris, winning the last two games and securing a 3-2 win.
 
Gregory Malsang added another win to his resume in his first season with the Quakers, defeating Oscar Okonkwo, 3-1.
 
Will Newman and Alexander Dartnell retained their unbeaten records, winning the final matches for the men's team.
