LANCASTER, Pa – The University of Pennsylvania men's squash team swept Chatham University and Dickinson College on Sunday in Lancaster, improving to 4-0.
The Quakers dominated in both matches, as they have swept all four of their opponents to open the season.
Sophomore
Rustin Wiser pulled out a tough fought win against Chatham's Abdelrahman Sadek in four sets (11-7, 8-11, 11-1, 11-4).
Freshman
Will Newman continues to impress in his first three collegiate matches, defeating Brett Poles of Chatham (11-5, 11-2, 11-0).
Sophomore
Marwan Abdelsalam emerged victorious after a four set battle with Dickinson's Joe Smythe (11-7, 12-14, 11-3, 11-6).
Transfer
Gregory Malsang recorded his first win for the Quakers against Gerardo Ortiz of Dickinson (11-3, 11-2, 11-2).
The Quakers have picked up where they left off last season, as they are undefeated in their last 27 matches.
