Senior Korzeniowski started his offensive tear shortly after the goal, attempting his first shot in the 16th minute that Owls' keeper Flannan Riley saved to keep the match at 1-0. Temple tried to retaliate three minutes later, but Falcon held strong, tallying his first save of the night.
The Quakers' last offensive attempts of the first half came in a frenzy during the 28th minute, as Gaffney shot one towards the left of the goal, resulting in senior
Ben Do getting an opportunity at Temple's Riley that was saved, followed by senior
Brandon Curran missing the goal by a hair towards the right of the crease.
Temple came out of the halftime break with a spark, as Elias Betancourt slammed one at Falcon that was saved. Aaron Markowitz tried to clean up on the previous play but went wide to account for Temple's last true offensive chance in the bout.
The Quaker offense came alive shortly after Temple's shots, as Korzeniowski finally found the back of the net in the 77th minute to double the lead.
Two minutes later, Cayelli scored his second and final of the game off a dish from defender Do to push Penn's lead to 3-0.
Penn put the nail in the casket during the 84th minute, as Gaffney glided down the field and crossed the ball over to Korzeniowski, who scored his second goal of the year to push the game to its final tally of 4-0, and Penn to its second consecutive win.
