PHILADELPHIA- The top-ranked University of Pennsylvania men's squash team will head to Connecticut this weekend, with matches against fifth-ranked Yale on Saturday, and third-ranked Trinity on Sunday.
The Quakers will be seeking revenge against the two foes that handed them losses in the Potter Cup last season, ending their quest for a National Championship.
Penn will be on the road for back-to-back matches for the first time this season and will conclude their regular season in New Jersey next weekend.
Previewing Penn
Penn is 11-0 this season, including four 9-0 sweeps, and are a perfect 4-0 in Ivy League play. The Quakers have also earned six wins over top-10 opponents.
Freshman,
Varun Chitturi leads the team in wins and is 11-0, including four victories in conference action. Last year's CSA (College Squash Association) first-team All-American, and first team All-Ivy honoree,
Nathan Kueh, is 10-0 and is sixth all-time on the men's career wins list (46).
Omar Hafez, last year's Ivy League Rookie of the Year, is 9-0 and 4-0 in Ivy play.
Dana Santry is also 9-0, while
Abdelrahman Dweek is 7-1,
Nick Spizzirri is 6-1 and
Oliver Green is 6-0.
Penn is coming off two victories last weekend, a 9-0 win over ninth-ranked Dartmouth and a 7-2 win over fourth-ranked Harvard at an electric Penn Squash Center.
The 7-2 victory over the Crimson matched the largest victory in program history, the first one coming in the 2016 season at the Potter Cup National Championship.
Salman Khalil, Hafez, Spizzirri, Kueh, Chitturi, and Santry all picked up two wins across the weekend.

Previewing the Bulldogs
Yale is 7-1, with a 4-1 record in conference play, have won three straight matches and are 4-0 at home. Last weekend the Bulldogs picked up two victories, with a 5-4 win over seventh-ranked Columbia and a 7-2 win over sixth-ranked Cornell. Arav Bhagwati, Tad Carney, Nikhil Ismail and Brian Leonard went 2-0 throughout the weekend.
Saturday's meeting will be the 92nd all-time between the Quakers and the Bulldogs, as Yale holds a 59-30 advantage in the series. The teams met twice last season, with Penn getting the win, 7-2, in the regular season, but Yale earned the victory, 5-4, in the third-place match of the Potter Cup. In the last 10 matchups, the Quakers are 9-1 and 13-31 on the road overall.

Previewing the Bantams
Trinity is 11-0, 3-0 at home and 8-0 on the road this season. Last weekend, Trinity downed sixth-ranked Cornell 7-2 on Saturday, and on Sunday defeated seventh-ranked Columbia 5-4. The Bantams will take on second-ranked Princeton, prior to Sunday's match against Penn.
Sunday's meeting will be the 42nd all-time between the Quakers and Bantams, as Trinity holds a 30-9 advantage in the series. The teams met twice last season, with Penn getting the 7-2 win in the regular season, and Trinity earning the victory, 5-4, in the Potter Cup semifinals. Penn is 5-14 on the road, is looking to take four out of the latest five matchups.
