CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The University of Pennsylvania's men's and women's squash teams earned solid victories over the University of Virginia on Saturday, with the women winning 7-2 and the men securing an 8-1 result.
The women completed a weekend sweep, improving to 7-0 early in the season.
Malak Khafagy came from behind after losing the first game to win three in a row, while
Malak Taha and
Allie Stoddard each won their matches in four games, contributing to the team's success.
On the men's side, top-ranked Penn remained undefeated at 6-0 for the season.
Omar Hafez rallied from a 1-2 deficit to win his match in five games.
Varun Chitturi also won in five games, while
Salman Khalil and
Nick Spizzirri claimed victories in four games.
