In 2023-24, the Quakers finished the regular season with a 15-1 record, including a 5-1 mark in conference play. The team remained undefeated at home, posting a perfect 10-0 record at the Penn Squash Center.
Key Returners:
Penn returns three All-Ivy players:
Omar Hafez,
Nick Spizzirri, and
Salman Khalil Salman, the Ivy League Rookie of the Year. All three were named first-team CSA All-America, as well, and combined for an impressive 32-6 overall record including a 16-2 mark in Ivy play.
Additional returners include notable performers such as:
Nathan Kueh (14-2 record)
Varun Chitturi (16-1 record)
Dana Sentry (13-1 record)
Team captains
Roger Baddour (1-3) and
Abdelrahman Dweek (10-4) will also provide leadership as the team looks to build on last season's success. Baddour shared, "Every season brings new challenges, and we are looking to repeat as National Champions and win the Ivy Championship outright."
New Additions:
Penn welcomes three new freshmen —
Zane Patel,
Marwan Tamer, and
Rustin Wiser — who will look to compete for starting positions throughout the season.
