New Haven, Conn. – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team wrapped up competition at the Ivy League Invitational today.

Sanjeev Chundu had a strong performance on the doubles side, advancing all the way to the semifinals. On the singles side, the Quakers went 2-2 in the Round of 32 consolation matches.

The day started with the Doubles Quarterfinals where Butera / Chundu defeated a side from Dartmouth, 8-4.
In the semifinals, they ran into the tournament's number one seed from Yale and fell in a tough match.
On the singles side, four consolation matches were played.
Shaurya Bharadwaj got on the board first for the Red and Blue. He split the first two sets with Dartmouth before winning the 10-point tie break.
Butera's singles match against Miles Groom (Dartmouth) was reminiscent of the one he played yesterday. Butera lost on a tie break in the first set before winning the second one in commanding fashion. On the third set, he came up just short to lose the match.
Justin Chung would cap off singles play for Penn with a commanding, 6-2, 6-3, win over Brown.
