PHILADELPHIA – It's good to be back! The nationally recognized University of Pennsylvania fencing programs open the 2024-25 season this weekend, taking the short trip to the Temple Open on Saturday and Sunday.

Quaker Notemeal
*Four 2023-24 All-Americans return to the program for Penn this year, highlighted by the 2024 Foil National Champion and First Team All-American Bryce Louie. Honorable Mention All-Americans Sabrina Cho, Grace Hu, and Joseph Wu also return to stripes for the 2024-25 season.
 
*Some fresh faces will be hitting the piste for the Quakers this season, with Jonathan Cheng, Antonio Heathcock, Nicholas Jin, Donghyeok Kim, Ben Kogan, and Jaesun Yun joining the men's team, while Gloria Cheng, Malak Hamza, Polina Kharchyna, Emily Kim, Amanda Li, Sophie Neuman, and Alexandra Wong joining the women's program.
 
*The Red and Blue have been putting in the work in the classroom, and the stripes as 38 Quakers were named to the USFCA All-Academic Team.
 
The Field
Penn and Temple will be joined by Boston College, Bryn Mawr, Drexel, Duke, FDU, Haverford, Hunter, Johns Hopkins, LIU, Navy, NYU, NJIT, Sacred Heart, Stevens, Swarthmore, The College of New Jersey, Florida, Wagner, North Carolina, and PSU at the Liacouras Center.
