PHILADELPHIA- The second-ranked University of Pennsylvania men's squash team continues Ivy League play this weekend with home matches Saturday and Sunday against 10th-ranked Dartmouth and fourth-ranked Harvard.
Both matches will commence at 12:00 p.m. from the Penn Squash Center.
Previewing Penn
The Quakers are 9-0 this season, including three 9-0 sweeps, and are 2-0 in Ivy League play. Penn has also earned victories over four top-10 opponents.
Freshman
Varun Chitturi leads the team in wins and is 9-0 this year, including two victories in conference action. Last year's CSA (College Squash Association) first-team All-American, and first team All-Ivy honoree,Â
Nathan Kueh, is 8-0 and is sixth all-time on the men's career wins list (44).
Abdelrahman Dweek and
Oliver Green are 6-0, and
Omar Hafez and
Dana Santry are 7-0.
Penn is coming off two 7-2 victories over ninth-ranked Cornell and sixth-ranked Columbia last weekend. Hafez, Kueh, Chitturi,
Dweek, Santry and
Nick Spizzirri were all undefeated during their matches.

Previewing the Big Green
Dartmouth sits at 5-4, with a 0-2 record in league play. The Big Green dropped both matches last weekend with a 9-0 loss to fourth-ranked Trinity and a 9-0 loss to third-ranked Yale. On Wednesday, January 24, Dartmouth picked up a 5-4 over 11th-ranked Williams.
Saturday's meeting will be the 79th all-time between the Quakers and the Big Green, as Penn holds a 54-24 advantage in the series. The Quakers have won the last nine matchups and are 26-9 at home. The last three meetings have been won by a score of 9-0.

Previewing the Crimson
Harvard sits at 6-1, with a 3-0 record in conference play. The Crimson split a pair of matches last weekend, with a 7-2 win over third-ranked Yale and a 6-3 loss against fourth-ranked Trinity. Tate Harms, Neel Joshi and Ishant Shah each picked up two wins on the weekend.
Sunday's meeting will be the 86th all-time between the Quakers and the Crimson, as Harvard holds a 4-81 advantage in the series. Penn has dropped the last two meetings, including a 5-4 loss in 2022, at the National Championship. The Quakers are 2-37 at home and 0-6 on the road. Penn's most recent victory over Harvard was a 6-3 final in the 2021-2022 regular season.
