PHILADELPHIA- The top-ranked University of Pennsylvania men's squash team will be back in action for the first time in 2024, with a pair of Top-10 matchups this weekend.
The Quakers will host 9th-ranked Cornell at 1:30 p.m. at the Penn Squash Center on Friday and will travel to New York to face 6th-ranked Columbia at 1:00 p.m. from the SL Green StreetSquash Center on Sunday.

The Quakers jumped out to a strong start to the season, landing at 7-0 before the end of the calendar year. Penn is a combined 57-6 against its opponents this season. Freshman Chitturi has posted a 7-0 record, while CSA (College Squash Association) First-Team All-American, and First Team All-Ivy honoree
Nathan Kueh, is 6-0. While last season's Ivy League Rookie of the Year, Hafez is 5-0 on the year. Senior Santry currently sits at 5-0, while junior Green is 6-0.

Friday's meeting will be the 26th all-time between the Quakers and Big Red, as Penn holds a 13-12 advantage in the series. Currently, Penn is carrying a six-match winning streak stemming from the 2016-2017 season. Last year, the Quakers picked up a 9-0 victory in Ithaca. Five of the last six matches for Penn have been a 9-0 sweep against Cornell. The Quakers are 7-3 in their last 10 meetings and are 6-5 at home.
