Both Men's Rowing Teams Representing at U23 World Championships

PHILADELPHIA – Both of the University of Pennsylvania men's rowing programs are represented at the Under-23 World Rowing Championships this summer. The Championships are running from July 19-23 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

HEAVYWEIGHT: A trio of rising juniors—Matt Davis, Jason Kennedy and Charles Jones—make up three-fourths in the United States' quad sculls boat, along with Harvard's James Patton.

LIGHTWEIGHT: Rising senior Simon Dubiel and rising junior will represent the United States in the lightweight men's quad sculls along with Georgetown's Eli Rabinowitz and Ruben Luthra. This is Dubiel's second time rowing at the U23 Worlds, as he and Rabinowitz made up the U.S. double sculls team in 2021.
