McConnell Announces Sprint Football's 2023 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Embarking on his third season at the helm of the program, William R. Wagner Head Coach Jerry McConnell has announced the 2023 schedule for the University of Pennsylvania sprint football team's upcoming season.
 
The Quakers are coming off a season in which the team went 3-4 overall with a 2-1 record in Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) South division play.
 
The Red and Blue will play seven games—four at Franklin Field and three on the road—during the 2023 season.
 
Penn begins its season with the annual Alumni Game on Saturday, September 9 at noon and opens the regular season Friday, September 15 at Chestnut Hill, kicking off at 7 p.m.
 
The Quakers' home opener is set for Friday, September 22 at 7 p.m. against Cornell, which is followed by back-to-back road contests, at Army on September 29 at 7 p.m. and at Alderson Broaddus October 6 at 6 p.m.
 
The team returns home for Captains Night on October 13 at 7 p.m. against Saint Thomas Aquinas with a bye the week after heading into the Quakers' Senior Night matchup on Saturday, October 28 at 7 p.m. in a rematch against Chestnut Hill, completing the home-and-home with the Griffins.
 
Penn concludes the regular season November 3 at home against Navy at 7 p.m.
 
The CSFL Championship Game is set to take place Friday, November 10.
