After going 1-8 from April 18 through May 3, the Blue Hens swept Stony Brook last weekend, getting back to .500 for the season and two games over .500 in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play.
Four everyday players are hitting over .330, led by Joey Lynd (.373) and JJ Freeman (.343). Lynd and Freeman are also first and second on the team, respectively, in hits, doubles, home runs, and RBI.
On the mound, reliever Owen Margolis has pitched to a 5.28 ERA this season, but has conceded just 13 earned runs over his last 28.2 innings, a 4.08 mark; he's struck out 29 batters over that same period. Fellow reliever Anthony Gubisoti has allowed just one earned run over his last 11 appearances totaling 9.2 innings -- a 0.93 ERA.
