Senior Day
*In the final home game of the 2023 season, the Penn Men's Lacrosse team will honor its 17 members of the senior class on Saturday with a pre-game ceremony. This group has contributed mightily to the Penn Men's Lacrosse experience in four-plus years, hoisting the Ivy League title in 2019 and a pair of Ivy League Tournament crowns in 2019 and 2022.

Back-To-Back
*A victory over the Crimson on Saturday improved the Quakers to 4-1 after a loss this season.

A win over Dartmouth Saturday would officially snap Penn's four-game losing streak following wins this season, going 0-4 during those games in 2023. The Quakers have not yet won back-to-back games this year.

Home, Sweet Home
*Penn has one final shot to secure a win at Franklin Field for the 2023 regular season against the Big Green, looking to end the Ivy League home slate with a perfect 3-0 record.

This would mark the first time since 2019 the Quakers went 3-0 at home against Ivy opponents. That team went on to finish 6-0 in conference play, sealing the Ivy title and ran the table to win the Ivy League Tournament crown as well.

The Penn-Dartmouth Series
*Saturday marks the 73rd matchup in series history between Penn and Dartmouth. The Quakers have the all-time edge, 45-27.

Penn heads into the matchup on an eight-game winning streak against the Big Green dating back to 2013.

More notably, the Quakers have not fallen to Dartmouth at Franklin Field since 2005, an 8-7 defeat.

On the road in Hanover last season, Dylan Gergar scored six goals while Sam Handley had three goals and two assists in the Quakers 16-12 victory over Dartmouth. Piper Bond led the defensive effort with four caused turnovers and three ground balls, while Patrick Burkinshaw made 12 saves in net.

The last time these two teams met at Franklin Field came in 2019, the Quakers coming away with a 22-6 romp over the Big Green. Adam Goldner scored five goals with two assists, while Handley added four goals and Simon Mathias put forth a seven-point effort with a hat trick and four helpers. Tyler Dunn finished with a team-high five assists.

The Last Time Out
*After going into the locker room knotted at 5-5, Penn used a 10-4 second half to cruise to a 15-9 victory at Harvard, to earn its third Ivy win of the season with just one game remaining.

Playing just 30 minutes away from his hometown of Natick, Mass., junior Cam Rubin matched his season high of four goals (with two on the man up), adding an assist for five points to pace the Quaker offense. James Shipley, Ben Smith and Handley each finished with two goals and two assists.

On defense, Peter Blake continued his strong senior season with three caused turnovers and a pair of ground balls. In goal, Emmet Carroll made 16 saves at a 64 percent clip as the Quakers earned their ninth consecutive victory over the Crimson dating back to 2014.

Tewaaraton Semifinalist
*For the second straight season, Handley was named a semifinalist for the coveted Tewaaraton Award, announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation on Thursday afternoon.

In 2022, Handley was one of five finalists for the award, becoming the first Quaker in program history to make it to the ceremony at the end of the year.

Handley, along with Virginia's Connor Shellenberger and Notre Dame's Pat Kavanagh are three finalists from last season that were named semifinalists for this year's iteration of the Tewaaraton.

Keeping The Streak Alive
*Handley increased his point-scoring streak to 43 straight games with his four points (two goals and two assists) against Harvard. That number is good for fourth nationally. Handley has at least one point in every game he has played for Penn during his career, good for 176 points, ranking fifth in program history.

The Baker's Dozen
*After scoring 15 goals in a win over Harvard, Penn is now 3-0 when scoring more than 13 goals this season. The Quakers also scored 13 goals against Saint Joseph's and 17 against Yale.
